UVA is a Lunarossa vini e passione project about shared viticulture and winery. Its goal is to become the voice of small wine grape growers and passionate fans of wine culture. It’s a project that wants to keep Monti Picentini winemaking tradition alive, through the revitalization and the enhancement of small uncultivated vineyards. The result was 1 oak and 300 customized bottles for each winemaker.
This initiative aims at promoting a productive and cultural action in order to develop the consumer awareness of winemaking processes, the history of our region and finally a delicious wine. It is a way to facilitate the access of people to our world, to know and understand the work that lies behind winemaking and to develop a real interaction between producers and consumers. The project is addressed to all the small wine grape growers who have always dreamt of bottling their own wine. Now this is possible thanks to the technology that only a modern winery can have. However, the project is also addressed to all wine culture enthusiasts who will have the chance to become real producers, participating in the entire process of vinification, from the vineyard to the bottle, from the pruning to the vintage, and finally in the devatting and tasting. Moreover, the project is the opportunity to learn to recognize the varieties of the vineyards and to treat the vines, taking part in the general process of growing the vine.
Today Lunarossa vini e passione has completed more than 35 projects thanks to a real journey through the vineyards of this region, guaranteeing the origin and the quality of the product and enhancing the culture of making great wines.
